There are two types of cities, magical and non-magical; Havana and Cartagena de Indias fall into the category of the first, evocative cities, ports loaded with mystery that invite adventure, fascinating bays such as only those in the Caribbean know how to be.
Two sister and sister cities that beat to the rhythm of the music and the heat, that sway to the beat of the hips and their purple eyes.
Two mestizo, Spanish and African cities that have sailed together through this sea of the Antilles since time immemorial, creating an invisible bond that is impossible to break.
For this reason, Café Restaurante Havana is our most sincere tribute to both of them, a shared love that is manifested night after night in the feet of the dancer, in the cadence of their musicians and in the throats of the rum drinkers.
With Café Havana in Getsemani (a neighborhood deeply linked to Cuba in its history) we want to once again build a cultural bridge between the two cities, cross the sea in one jump, with the permission and blessing of Yemayá, and promote the reunion of two very close relatives. close ones who are surprised and happy to know that they are so different and so equal at the same time.
