Procinal Ltda., the National Cinema Promoter, is one of the most experienced film companies in the country.
On April 13, 1988, Sociedad PROCINAL BOGOTÁ LIMITADA was incorporated as a company dedicated to the exhibition of films that began operations in the Ciudad Tunal Shopping Center with the opening of two modern movie theaters. At that time the great strength was family entertainment in this new format with 2 rooms instead of the traditional large cinema in the main streets and neighborhoods of the city. After the success of this great innovation, the euphoric construction of shopping centers begins, bringing together all the merchants in the same place of meeting, commerce and family recreation.
PROCINAL currently has a presence in the following shopping centers: PLAZA DE LAS AMERICAS, SALITRE PLAZA, TUNAL, BULEVAR NIZA, PALATINO, BIMA, TINTAL PLAZA, UNISUR, UNICENTRO DE OCCIDENTE, CENTRO SUBA, DIVERPLAZA ALAMOS AND PORTAL DE LA SABANA IN BOGOTÁ AND LA PLAZUELA IN CARTAGENA AND UNICENTRO IN VILLAVICENCIO.
Procinal exhibits in these modern multiplexes all the premieres that the film distributors bring to the country, according to the captive public of each one of its theaters. We exhibit the great productions of American studios and Colombian and independent productions. We also distribute feature films and short films as well as participate in the production of some. With the massive attendance at these movie theaters, we have become an attractive advertising medium with the projection of commercials on film and video of the great advertising campaigns of many important Colombian and foreign advertisers who understand the importance of segmentation and the incredible acceptance of surround sound and giant screens in advertising and its relationship with consumers.
