Since December 11, 1996, the Mint of the Luis Ángel Arango Library has housed the Exhibition of the Numismatic Collection, in which approximately 1,700 pieces are on display.
The exhibition is based on a novel conception that introduces the concept of coins and banknotes as a window into the history of Colombia, especially the economic and social history of the country.
