"Laguna de Guatavita and Loma de Peña Blanca" productive protective forest reserve area

Declared by Executive Resolution 174/93, with an extension of 613 ha., located in the municipalities of Sesquilé and Guatavita. Like the other reserve areas, it has a management plan, currently there is a conversation with the National Tourism Corporation, which has shown interest in the ecotourism program presented in the plan, additionally, revegetation programs have been developed and has established perimeter fences in some sectors to protect the area.
